About me

As a creative writing graduate, I find myself forced out of my shell and into the big wide world... No more excuses, I am meant to spread my paper wings as a newly (re-)born writer. Scared? No absolutely not...

As a writer, I love learning from different forms (script, prose and poetry) and playing with the boundaries they each impose. My best works to date were a play interrupted by poetic monologues and a piece which combined poetry, prose and graphic novel.

Pour Titi at the Winchester Poetry Festival

12th October 2019

I am unbelievably honoured to announce that  my poem 'Pour Titi' was long-listed for the 2019 Winchester Poetry Prize.

'Pour Titi' was one of the first poems I wrote and I am glad to see it being recognised in the town where it was born.

I will be reading the poem on Saturday 12th of October, and I cannot wait to play tourist on my old uni ground and see the lovely peeps who still inhabit the beautiful Winchester.

You can book your ticket here:

First Play performed

11th of February 2018

Aral Sea was commissioned by my former lecturer Glenn Fosbraey for the multi-media Climate Change art exhibition 'This Changes Everything' which happened on the 3rd of February. Good news! For those who missed the performance, Oslo Iversen adapted my play script into a video and it is now available on youtube.

Award for Playwriting

April 2017

Last week we had our Creative Writing ball as a last goodbye from our university lecturers to us, third years. We were all dressed up in our heels and gowns or suits and leather (flat) shoes. Some read, some almost did read, and some sat in comfortable seats, clapping or holding cameras like proud parents.

To my surprise and honour I was given an award for my playwriting skills!  Well done everyone who won in the separate categories/genres. Whoop whoop! It's quite a nice little golden statue.

Check my projects page for more information about my play-scripts.
